A warm welcome to my site, about me. I schooled as a teenager in Sussex at a Cordon Bleu School, 'Sabine de Mirbeck' and completed my training in Paris. I then continued my adventure from France to Italy where I lived in the Italian heart of GASTRONOMY, Bologna. I learnt so much about excellent food, company and wine. After working in three different restaurants over a period of three years I then fulfilled my dream of owning my own restaurant in Bologna, which is in the region of Emilia Romagna also known as the 'cradle of good cooking' with my husband for nearly four years.
When we decided to 'come home' (for me) to England I continued with my passion of food establishing myself in the private sector of events. To further my career I enrolled at University of Brighton, I achieved a post graduate degree which has enabled me to lecture in Catering in Hospitality in Further Education sharing my knowledge and experiences with future generations choosing this buoyant and exciting sector.
